A new official building plan has been adopted by the City of Dryden.
Among the changes, new development within 300 metres of Thunder Lake will not be permitted to protect a sensitive lake trout fishery.
Commercial entrances along Highway 17 will be kept to a minimum in the east end of the city.
Any new mobile home parks in the ciy must be connected to municipal water and sewage.
And the development of condominiums will be encouraged.
The single plan replaces two others, one for the former town of Dryden and the other township of Barclay.
