“The Vision is now a reality”
It was a big day at the Meno-Ya-Win Health Centre Thursday as officials gathered to celebrate the completion of the CT Scan project.
Almost $1.8-million was raised in just over 4-years, $235,000 of which came from Riley Barkman and a group of Sachigo Lake residents who walked over 700-kilometres for the cause.
The Wasaya Group accounted for over half-a-million dollars..
Marnie Hoey is President of the Health Centre Foundation and says the project was an amazing accomplishment.
The new CT Scan Unit is expected to be operational early next year.
