OFIA wants talks on softwood

The Ontario Forest Industries Association says it wants
prime minister Stephen Harper to make softwood lumber one of the key issues when he meets with U.S. President George Bush next week in Mexico.

Jamie Lim is president of the O.F.I.A. and says Canada should take the initiative following last weeks NAFTA ruling in favor of Canada.

N008 Q: …SO FAR. (18 SECS.)

Lim says Canada has the weight of a number of legal victories behind it, and that should give the federal government the ammunition it needs to bargain a better softwood deal.
