OFSAA One Sleep Away For DHS Cross-Country Team

The Dryden Eagles Cross-Country team is preparing for the All-Ontario Championship Saturday in Port Hope.

Sarah Urquhart and Corrin Kuzemchuk both qualified and Urquhart notes they are tried and tested for OFSAA competitions.

Urquhart says this is her second appearance at the provincial championship, while Kuzemchuk has competed in three tournaments.

Both stress it’s a great experience to run in a huge race.

Kuzemchuk says the ultimate goal is to compete hard, have fun and proudly represent Dryden High School.

The Eagles are also represented by Madison Lambert, Cynthia Terry, Mason Brown, Gavin Wisneski, Nick Peters, Tanner Henderson, Amy Wickstrom and Mike Braun.
