Thunder Bay will soon be getting a basket full of moose goodies.
Dryden Mayor Anne Krassilowsky has lived up to her bet with Lakehead
Mayor Lynn Peterson after Eric Staal and the Carilona Hurricanes beat Chris
Pronger and the Edmonton Oilers to win the Stanley Cup.
Krassilowsky says she was still proud of the Oilers performance.
The bet also called for Dryden to fly Thunder Bay’s flag at City Hall,
however Peterson has stated that won’t be necessary.
Kenora MP Roger Valley is also set to honour his bet with Thunder
Bay-Rainy River MP Ken Boshcoff.
Valley will donate $100 to the Northern Cancer Research
Foundation.
Oilers Lose as do Mayor and MP
