OMA on mining report

The Ontario Mining Association believes there are initiatives the provincial government could take to assist the mining industry.

A new report suggests the development of new mines in the province generate millions of dollars for the provincial coffers.

Chris Hodgeson is the CEO of the Ontario Mining Association and says while the commodities market is hot, there are always incentives that could boost mining production.

Hodgeson would also like to see the provincial government develop long term revenue sharing agreements with first nations.
