On-Line Contest Benefits Dryden

Dryden can celebrate thanks to the efforts of Megan Silander.
TimberMart has handed over a cheque worth $60,000 for the Dryden Minor Hockey Association Breakfast Club and Mayor’s Committee for Children and Youth.
Silander submitted the winning essay and she says it all started with a request from her dad.
She says they selected the Mayor’s Committee because there’s a lot of people who need the help right now.
Silander notes she’s seen the number of people who have had to use the Committee for funding.
TimberMart Vice-President John Irwin made the cheque presentation yesterday says 200-hockey associations participated in the event and Dryden came out on top.
Irwin says Dryden deserves the honour and the charity selected suits the companies needs.
