A reminder that public elementary and high school students won’t be in the classroom Friday.
The Keewatin Patricia District School Board has announced that all of its school will be closed due to a one-day walk-out by members of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation.
Child care facilities and EarlyOn Centres in elementary schools will remain open, though before and after school programming will not take place.
The one-day job action does not impact students who attend local catholic schools, and all public schools will be back to class as normal on Monday.
