One Final Chance to Sway Voters

The candidates in the Kenora Riding are taking one final chance to sway voters.
Today we ask, why vote for you?!
Tania Cameron of the NDP says at the end of the day, look at your home and look at your economic situation and ask yourself is life affordable?
Cameron says no it isn’t and the NDP has practical solutions to change Canadians way of life.
She says the Liberals and Conservative have had their shot and have failed.
Conservative Greg Rickford says his Government’s action on rebuilding critical infrastructure and enhancing essential services for seniors has been unprecedented and he wants to see that continue to grow.
Rickford says the Conservatives have been a strong voice in Ottawa with a proven track record.
He stresses the Government has delivered real results for Northerners in the last 2-and-a-half years.
Liberal Roger Valley says his party is set on helping struggling families in the Kenora Riding and making a difference.
Valley stresses ensuring there is proper funding for health care and support for seniors are just two of his main priorities.
Independent Kelvin Chicago-Boucher says local residents don’t have much of a choice as all three parties have a spotty track record.
He stresses there’s no alternative but voting an independent, noting he would be the Region’s true voice.
Green Candidate Mike Schwindt says he has the ability to shape his parties policy and vote the true wishes of area residents if elected.
Schwindt says he would hold the swing vote, which could lead to concessions for Northerners.
Today is election day. (Monday)
In Thunder Bay-Rainy River.
NDP incumbent John Rafferty believes there will be strong voter turnout at the polls today.
Liberal candidate Ken Boshcoff is pleased with the support he got with his campaign.
Conservative Maureen Comuzzi-Stehmann and the Green’ Ed Shields are also confident on their chances of winning tonight.
