Police have surrounded various buildings in Watertown,
Massachusetts as they continue their manhunt for the surviving Boston Marathon bombing suspect.
The man has been identified as 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, from a Russian region near Chechnya.
Police have been trying to cut off all possible means of escape.
They’ve confiscated his car and have cut off mass transit and taxis.
The suspect and his brother Tamerlan, the second suspect in the bombings, reportedly engaged in a firefight and threw explosives at police after they allegedly shot and killed a campus police officer at M-I-T.
Tamerlan was killed while Dzhokhar escaped on foot.
Officials say the M-I-T officer was apparently ambushed and
killed in cold blood.
The brothers have been living in the United States for years.
