One new COVID case to report in the region.
It comes from the District of Rainy River.
There are eight active cases in the Northwestern Health Unit catchment area.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit recorded three new positives and the active count is now at 13.
Ontario is reporting 798 new cases, breaking a three-day stretch that saw numbers below 600.
Of the new cases, 620 individuals weren’t fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status.
Three new COVID-related deaths were recorded.
