One Person Confirmed Dead In First Nation Fire

Human remains have been discovered in the aftermath of a residential fire in Mishkeegogamang First Nation.
Nishnawbe-Aski Police began an investigation into the fire on Friday, assisted by the Northwest Region Crime Unit, OPP Forensic Identification Unit and the Ontario Fire Marshall.
Police say one fatality has been confirmed, and a post mortem is being done in Kenora.
Police say no other deaths have been reported.
