Ken Anderson will live to fight again while Wayne Hampson is out at
the Northwestern Ontario Curling Association Playdowns in Terrace Bay.
The Red Lake rink stayed alive with an 8-1 win over the Nephin rink of
Geraldton early Friday.
Hampson’s Red Lake rink lost for the third straight time and was
eliminated from play with a 9-1 loss to the Lorne Jackson rink from Fort Frances.
Anderson will face Jackson next in another must win game on the ‘C’ ladder
at 8:00 Friday night. Dryden’s Cam McMillan will be on the ice at 2:30 looking
for a win against the Young rink from Marathon to stay in the tournament
