One Red Lake Rink Out

Ken Anderson will live to fight again while Wayne Hampson is out at
the Northwestern Ontario Curling Association Playdowns in Terrace Bay.
The Red Lake rink stayed alive with an 8-1 win over the Nephin rink of
Geraldton early Friday.
Hampson’s Red Lake rink lost for the third straight time and was
eliminated from play with a 9-1 loss to the Lorne Jackson rink from Fort Frances.
Anderson will face Jackson next in another must win game on the ‘C’ ladder
at 8:00 Friday night. Dryden’s Cam McMillan will be on the ice at 2:30 looking
for a win against the Young rink from Marathon to stay in the tournament
