Ontario and Midwives reach agreement

The provincial government has reached a one year funding agreement with the Association of Ontario Midwives.

The deal calls for a one percent increase and more operational funding for rent, overhead and supplies.

Overall, the Ontario government is spending 16 million dollars more for midwifery services.

The funding also includes more money for equipment, travel and upgrade IT systems
