Faculty at Ontario’s colleges, including Confederation College, could be walking off the job next Monday.
October 16th is the strike date that has been set by the Ontario Public Service Employees Union.
Bargaining team Chair J-P Hornick says the Ontario Colleges Council continues to avoid their key issues around classroom decision-making and part-time staff protections.
The Council accuses the union of taking an unnecessary strike that would be a terrible outcome on students and is asking that its recent offer be put to a vote.
