The Ontario College of Teachers is trying to encourage members to report child abuse.
The group has launched a campaign urging teachers to report any sign of abuse to local Children’s Aid Society’s.
Joe Jameson adds they want to fill in the picture of what happens when there is a need to report a child in need of protection.
Each year there are about 171,000 reports of child abuse in the province and that’s why the Teachers College is out with advice for their members.
