MPP’s are heading back to work Wednesday after a shortened summer holiday.
Premier Doug Ford has called an emergency session of the Legislature to deal with Bill 5, which reduces the size of Toronto City council.
The premier is using the Notwithstanding Clause of the Canadian Constitution to get around a judges ruling this week, that struck down the bill as unconstitutional.
