Ontario Moose Program Under Review

Tired of applying for a moose tag year after year without success?
Well here’s your chance to speak up.
The Ministry of Natural Resources has launched a review of its moose
management program, including the allocation of resident moose tags.
Spokesperson Jolanta Kowalski says the deadline for public comment is
june 30th.
The MNR will also be holding consultations with stakeholders and
sending questionnaires to random moose hunters.
Kowalski says public input is important to find
long-term solutions to ensure Ontario’s moose population remains healthy.
