Ontario NDP Leader Speaks To Health Care Officials In Sioux Lookout

Ontario NDP Leader Andrea Horwath is in Sioux Lookout to learn about health care needs in the north.

Horwath, along with Kenora-Rainy River MPP Sarah Campbell met with front-line health service providers and nurses today to hear local concerns.

Many issues raised were lack of beds, cuts to registered nurses, emergency in First Nations health care and the inequity of care for Northwestern families.

Horwath goes on to say the Liberal 2016 budget nearly doubles the cost of prescription drugs for most seniors which will affect people on a fixed income.
