Ontario North has advanced to the Final 4 at the National Aboriginal Hockey Championship in Ottawa.
Eagle Lake’s Nathan Bruyere recorded the hat-trick and Sioux Lookout’s Kyler Ackewance also found the back of the net to lead the Northern squad to an 8-5 win over Alberta in Thursday’s Semi-Final.
Bruyere also added an assist.
Ontario North takes on Saskatchewan at 6:25 local Friday night.
Manitoba and Quebec meet in the other Semi.
