Nurses across the province are calling for a guide to the Supreme Court’s recent ruling to strike down the ban on doctor-assisted death.
Commenting on the court’s decision, the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario says it has much to offer about the end-of-life care patients receive, to help develop a new legal framework.
Members passed a resolution in April last year, approving a set of principles to be considered when discussing assisted suicide, some of which are already contained in the ruling.
