Potential Ontario Works Clients in the Kenora District can now apply on-line.
The Services Board is moving towards on-line applications starting on Monday.
Director of Ontario Works Dianne Apland says if you don’t have a computer, you can visit the main KDSB office in Dryden to apply on-line.
The move follows the direction of the Provincial Government and Apland stresses they hope to move to on-line applications for Child Care and Housing by October 1st.
The KDSB currently has 702 OW caseloads, with an increase reported in Dryden, Sioux Lookout and Ear Falls.
