In loving memory of Opal Evelyn Haw (nee Haney), age 74 of Wabigoon, who passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 14, 2011 at the Dryden Regional Health Centre after a courageous battle with cancer.
Opal was raised in Deerlock, ON, daughter to Russell and Geneva Haney, she was one of 13 children.
She married the love of her life Allan on October 16, 1954. Together they raised their children; Cheryl, Orval (Martha), Gayleen (Mike). Her grandchildren; Eko (Jerry), Matt, Kayla, Carmen and great-grandchildren Eloi and Jasper were the light of her life.
There will be no Visitation as cremation has taken place.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday December 17th, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Dryden Community Funeral Home’s Chapel with Ora Semeniuk officiating.
Interment will be at a later date.
If friends desire, Memorial donations may be made to the DRHC Palliative Care Unit or a charity of your choice through the Dryden Community Funeral Home 249 Grand Trunk Ave. Dryden, ON P8N 2X3.
