The 24-hour highway safety blitz targeting commercial vehicles wrapped up Thursday morning.
Police along with inspectors from the Ministry of Transportation and Ministry of the Environment checked over 14-hundred commercial vehicles across the Province.
Inspectors checked trucks for signs of poor maintenance, environmental violations and mechanical problems.
