‘Operation Corridor’ Starts Tomorrow

Aggressive commercial truck drivers and unsafe commercial vehicles are the target of a 24-hour enforcement blitz.
‘Operation Corridor’ begins Tuesday morning at 6 o’clock.
Sergeant Shelley Garr is the OPP Northwest Region Spokesperson and says the initiative has been successful in the past.
Last year 159-speeding charges were laid across Ontario and various other charges were laid in relation to aggressive driving and unsafe commercial vehicles.
Garr says they will also be watching for seat belt infractions and distracted drivers.
The Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Environment and Dryden Police are also involved in the crack down.
