Operation Remote Immunity Considered A Success

The province says it has reached a milestone for immunizing northern first nations against COVID-19.

It says everyone living in the 31 remote communities has received the first dose of the vaccine, who wants one.

Overall, over 15 thousand doses of the COVID-19 vaccine has been delivered in communities in the far north.

That includes over 12 thousand first doses and 2,664 second doses.

Ornge Air helped deliver the vaccines and health professionals to the remote communities.
