OPP Attend Blockade

OPP are on the scene of a blockade on the English River Road,
75-kilometres north of Kenora.
Police are monitoring the situation as protesters continue to lobby
against clear-cutting operations on the Grassy Narrows reserve.
No problems have been reported by Police who say up to 25 people are
involved in the protest.
OPP also confirm that local and recreational vehicles are being
allowed through the blockade however at least 1 logging truck has been stopped.
Police are expected to remain on site and no arrests have been made.
OPP add the blockade is illegal however there are no plans to remove the protesters.
