OPP Detective Constable Pleads Guilty To Fraud

An OPP detective constable working out of the Thunder Bay detachment is going to be sentenced March 10th after pleading guilty to fraud under $5,000.

Rory Thompson was originally charged with 8 counts of theft under $5,000 and one count of fraud under $5,000 .

The charges included using an OPP issued credit card for personal use.

However, in court today he entered the plea in connection with the one fraud charge.

Thompson remains suspended with pay by the force.
