OPP Honour Their Retired Employees

The Ontario Provincial Police are celebrating Veterans Day and the president of the Veterans Association was in Kenora to meet with officers.
Bob Arbour says it’s great that more detachments in Northwestern Ontario are welcoming their veterans.
He says about 35 different detachments across the province locally invited their retirees for refreshments and to share their stories.
Looking back, Arbour says times are changing and so is the equipment.
Arbour was also able to tour the new Forensic Identification Unit at the Kenora Detachment.
