A traffic collision investigation has resulted in drug charges against a pair of British Columbia residents.

Provincial Police were called to a crash on Highway 17, about 40-kilometres east of Ignace just before 9 o’clock Wednesday evening.

OPP say the two individuals both had Methamphetamine, over 30-grams of marijuana and more than one gram of cannabis resin in their possession.

Police say 33-year-old Virgina Denning of Prince George and 29-year-old Jesse Macdonld of Williams Lake both face multiple possession charges.

Denning has also been charged with obstructing a peace officer and failing to comply with a probation order.
