OPP Investigating Serious Crash On Highway 11

Provincial Police are releasing details surrounding last Friday’s crash on Highway 11 near Atikokan.
OPP say a vehicle driven by a 49-year-old Fort Frances man crossed over the centre line and struck an oncoming vehicle with 2-women from Atikokan.
The oncoming vehicle went into the ditch and the occupants were able to escape before it exploded.
Both drivers were airlifted to hospital.
So far no charges have been laid but police are investigating.
