Provincial Police are investigating a string of fires in the area Wednesday afternoon.
Fire officials say crews responded to a shed fire in Oxdrift.
As fire fighters were battling the flames, another blaze was reported at a nearby home.
The homeowner says his residence was lost in the fire, which he describes as suspicious.
Machin Fire had to deal with a fire in the Beaver Creek area.
Crews were unable to save a barn, while a second structure was damaged.
However, fire fighters were able to save nearby homes and property.
In both cases, Dryden and Wabigoon provided mutual aid.
Dryden Fire Chief Ryan Murrell says they dispatched more than ten fire fighters, a tanker and a pumper, stressing they had enough personnel to deal with any emergency in town.
