OPP kept busy on area highways

Officers with the Dryden Detachment of the OPP have been kept busy.

Over the Easter long weekend, police conducted a traffic campaign between Dryden and Ignace along Highway 17.

The OPP says a record number of charges were issued with over 500 infractions noted.

Some of the charges include speeding, improper use of seatbelts, distracted driving, impaired driving and stunt driving.
