OPP Launch R.I.D.E Campaign

There’s going to be an increased police presence on area roads and highways starting tomorrow.
The Ontario Provincial Police are once again launching their festive RIDE campaign, which stands for reduce impaired driving everywhere.
Acting Sergeant with the Northwest Region Anne McCoy says it’s a great way to prevent it from happening because people see the RIDE checks more often.
McCoy adds that if you suspect someone is driving or about to drive impaired, call 911.
