OPP Lay Additional Drug Charges In Pickle Lake

The OPP say they have laid additional charges in connection to a drug investigation in the Pickle Lake area.

Earlier this month, one person died after consuming medication they believed to be percocet.

Police say it was actually an illicit opioid made to look like the real thing.

29-year-old Simon Masakeyash has been identified as the deceased.

As a result of their continued investigation, the OPP say 32-year-old Tonus Kwandibens, Charlene Masakeyash and Joyce Masakeyash, both 36, from the New Osnaburgh First Nation have been arrested and charged with trafficking.
