A 27 year old from Pikangikum has been charged following an assault in Dryden.
The incident took place this past Saturday around 10:30 am at a residence on First Street.
The OPP say they have laid spousal assault charges.
The accused has been release from custody and will appear in Dryden Court at a later date.
Police say they will not release names to protect the identity of the victim.
