OPP Locate Missing Man On Lake Of The Woods

A missing snowmobiler is safe and sound after he was rescued from Lake of the Woods on Tuesday morning.
Ontario Provincial Police were notified of the situation Monday around 7pm, and dispatched their emergency response unit, along with a search and rescue plane from Winnipeg.
Around 6:30am, police noticed a fire on Bigsby Island and were able to find the man, who was cold but healthy.
OPP stress the importance of always letting someone know where you plan on going, and what time you plan on returning home.
