Provincial Police in Kenora say a 28-year-old man faces charges after an attack on a police officer.
Wednesday morning following an ongoing investigation police arrested a man on a warrant.
During the arrest a fight ensued and a police officer was assaulted.
The officer sustained minor injuries.
OPP say Merrill Land of Kenora faces counts of Resisting a Peace Officer and Assaulting a Peace Officer.
He is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
