OPP Officer Assaulted; Kenora Man Charged

A Kenora man faces multiple charges following an altercation with a Provincial Police officer last week.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on River Drive in Kenora and determined the driver had been consuming alcohol.

During his arrest, OPP say the officer was assaulted.

Police say 50-year-old James Pink faces a total of six charges:

-Driving While Ability Impaired (Alcohol)
-Driving with More than 80mg of Alcohol in Blood
-Assault a Peace Officer
-Resist Peace Officer
-Driving While Disqualified
-Uttering Threats-Cause Death or Bodily Harm
