OPP Officer Charged In Fatal Collision

An O.P.P. officer in Kenora is being charged with dangerous driving causing death.
The province’s Special Investigations Unit laid the charge following an incident back in September when 42 year old Gloria Assin, a prisoner being transported in a cruiser, died as a result of her injuries following a crash.
O.P.P. Constable Troy Bender will appear in a Kenora court on December 20th.
