OPP Promote Internet Safety

The Ontario Provincial Police want to remind everyone to stay safe when using the internet.
The Sioux Lookout Detachment recently had a case where a parent didn’t know their child could access the internet through a video game.
Constable Allison Moore says parents need to know what devices can access the internet and adjust the security settings so the child can’t access certain websites.
Moore also recommends that parents be present when children are using the internet, and frequently check the browser history.
