OPP Seize Drugs And Weapons Following Highway 72 Traffic Stop

Provincial Police in Sioux Lookout are reporting drug and weapons charges after a traffic stop on Highway 72 near Ojibway Park.

Officers stopped a suspicious vehicle last Thursday afternoon.

OPP say they found drug paraphernalia left in plain view and also seized a small quantity of Methamphetamine along with brass knuckles and a crossbow.

Police say 20-year-old Ethan Goodwin of Lac Seul First Nation faces four charges including possession of Methamphetamine, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a weapon and failing to comply with an undertaking.

25-year-old Tony Gordon of Sioux Lookout faces the same charges along with a charge of possession of a firearm or ammunition.
