It’s the last long weekend of the summer and it’s usually a busy one on Northwestern Ontario roads.
Ontario Provincial Police will be patrolling this weekend looking for distracted drivers, seatbelt infractions and impaired driving.
Sergeant Shelley Garr says they’ll also be making sure people respect the so called “move over” laws.
Garr adds unfortunatly ten people have died this year on roads in the Northwest, compared to 13 last year.

OPP Will Be Out In Full Force
