The local chapter of the United Steel Workers wants to see more
funding for the forest industry from both levels of Government and rewards
for those companies that choose to operate in Northern Ontario.
Union President Joe Hanlon says its time for the Provinces Council on
Forest Industry Competitiveness to take action.
Hanlon says they want all local communities to jump on board.
