The Ontario Public Service Employees Union has filed an application to the Ontario Labour Relations Board to become the bargaining unit for thousands of part-time support staff working in the province’s community colleges.
The union delivered its application, with thousands of signed union cards, to the Board this week.
OPSEU began its drive last September.
It already represents the College’s more than 83-thousand full-time support staff.
