OPSEU Next Step

Regional members of the Ontario Public Service Employees Union have
rejected the latest contract offer by 75%.
Voting was held last week and Regional Vice-President John O’Brien says
he was impressed with the turn-out.

n022 runs: 11 sec. out…to say.

The deal would have given workers a wage increase of 2% a year
over 3-years.
O’Brien stresses the vote was not a strike vote and notes the Union
will work with the Province on securing a fair deal.
