Ora passed away peacefully on Thursday September 19th, 2013 at Dryden Princess Court with her daughters at her side.
Ora was born in Emo, Ontario, where she attended a one room school house, she later attended the Winnipeg College of Business. Later working as a secretary for her father in the insurance business in Atikokan. After moving to Dryden in 1962 Ora worked at the Dryden Pulp and Paper Company as a secretary until her retirement. She retired to BC then later returned to Dryden where she resided at Princess Court.
She is predeceased by her father, J. Edgar Bainbridge, her mother Leta Bainbridge and her husbands Hank Unrau and Bill Fraser.
She will be sadly missed by her children Brian Unrau (Rita) of Surrey BC, Linda Priebe (Gordon) of Dryden, Bruce Unrau (Trish) of Victoria BC and Colleen Pike (Bill) of Paris, ON, as well as her grandchildren Richard Unrau (Tracey), Shaun Unrau (Barb), Bradley Unrau, Melony Lang, Robert Lang and Chris Lang (Shana), Shane Unrau, Cody Unrau, Ian Pike, Lisa Pike, Bruce Priebe (Lisa), Scott Priebe (Shawndel), Richard Priebe (Lauren); plus her numerous great -grandchildren, Todd Lang, Natalia Lang, Michael Melander, Mackenzie Unrau, Shainah Priebe, Tyson Priebe, Oliver Priebe, Violet Priebe, Abigail Priebe and Elliotte Priebe. She is survived by two brothers: Grant Bainbridge (Gena) of Courtnay BC and Donald Bainbridge (Paulien) of Atikokan ON and many nieces and nephews.
Ora loved the outdoors, and horses were a great part of her life. Some of her other interests were exploring the unknown, travelling, fishing, spending time at camp, snow machining, and having a beer with friends and family. While at Princess Court she enjoyed everyone who came to visit and got to know her. Ora will be missed by those who truly knew her.
