Over 150 occasional teachers with the Keewatin Patricia
District School Board will walk off the job, if a contract
settlement isn’t reached by the end of April.
Members of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers
Federation voted 87% in favour of striking in order to
back their contract demands.
Spokesperson Paul Elliott says they’re still hopeful an
agreement with the public board can be reached.

for substitute teachers renegotiated on a regular basis.
