An Ottawa area man accused of robbing a bank in Kenora, as well as at
least 13 other banks across Canada last summer, will be back in court in
March.
45-year-old Dean Joubert has been in custody at the Kenora
jail since he was arrested and charged with robbing the bank last september.
His lawyer told the court Monday that a number of other jurisdictions
are transferring similar charges on Joubert to the Kenora District, making
it difficult to proceed further with the case at this time.
