There is no threat of COVID-19 at Rainycrest Long Term Care Home in Fort Frances.
A COVID-19 outbreak at Rainycrest has now been declared over by the Northwestern Health Unit.
The outbreak was first reported Saturday after two staff persons tested positive through surveillance testing.
Riverside Health Care says both returned a negative results after a second test.
That’s allowing visiting and short-term leaves to resume starting tomorrow.
Vaccination clinics for residents, staff and essential caregivers are planned to start today.
